SILO

Scientific Information for Land Owners (SILO) is a Queensland Government database that provides climate data for locations across Australia. Rainfall records extend back to 1890, while other climate variables, such as temperature, humidity and evaporation, are available from 1957. SILO uses observations from a network of sites with interpolated data to fill gaps where measurements were unavailable, creating a continuous climatic record. The data presented on this website were sourced from the (SILO) database for Brigalow Research Station (Site 35149), which operated from the 1970s to the 2000s.
